Transcription delays and gaps due to Google Speech service errors

Monitoring - We are investigating elevated transcription errors affecting some live sessions.

The issue appears to be caused by intermittent upstream failures from Google Speech-to-Text, where Google is returning transient availability errors while processing transcription streams. Affected sessions may have incomplete transcript segments or gaps in generated transcripts.

Our core meeting experience remains operational. We have deployed mitigations to retry affected transcription streams and are continuing to monitor recovery. We are also identifying impacted sessions for follow-up review.

We will provide another update when error rates return to normal or we have more information from Google.
